Lochshiel Estate extends to about 9000 acres and offers exciting and varied stalking over hills with marvellous views over lochs, the sea and the Inner Hebrides.

During the rut at the end of September and beginning of October the hills ring with the sound of roaring stags – a wonderful experience and an amazing time to be on the hill.

Stalking is available for 4 weeks in September and October with hind stalking available during the hind season. The estate practises selective culling taking older and less strong stag and hinds to promote a healthy population and to protect the natural habitat.

Guests are taken out by our stalker who adapts the day to the physical fitness of the guests ensuring they have an enjoyable and successful day. All guests are expected to go on the rifle range before setting out.
